You can find out more about the butterflies and moths of the Ionian islands on the species page. Use the information here and on our Facebook page to help you identify the species that you see.
Predicted Sightings - if you are planning a trip to one of the Ionian islands to see butterflies or you live there and just want to know what might be around then try out our Predicted Sightings tool.

If you expect to see and record plenty of species then we recommend that you use the app developed by EBMS (European Butterfly Monitoring Scheme). It is really easy to use when you are out in the field. Afterwards you can use our import routine to capture all your sightings on our website.
