The Butterflies of the Ionian Islands
You will find all the Ionian butterflies here although some have not been seen on every island. Every record adds to the scientific knowledge base and you may even find a 'new to the island' species.
The information outlined in these species descriptions was written with help from Harry. E. Clarke, Mark Colvin, Dan Danahar, Ken & Gillian Elsom, Tony Gould, Anne Sordinas and a host of other CBC volunteers who have contributed to our understanding of the butterflies of Corfu over the years (see specific mentions of different individuals in the species accounts that follow).
